This site has so many people just viewing (Guest) but nobody login in and posting anything at all. This site use to be great with great people on here talking and sharing but nothing in a long time, its dead here. I looked at the thread and there are so many that haven't had anything new in over a year posted to them. Even the mods are gone and never show up.
I will give it a few and if things don't pick up and window shoppers don't join then sadly I think its time to go.

After banking up enough points (10) I was able to get my choice of Hunt here in Michigan so I went with the First Hunt in Newberry. I did some looking around and found a guide that ended up being one of the greatest guys I have ever met, him and his family were Awesome. When I showed up I was greeted my his wife and her mom, he was out running baits. Once e returned we talked for a bit on which bait he was going to put me at, had 3 choices but only one seemed good the first night due to the winds. The Bear he had coming into this bait was a big Bear but was only showing up after dark. I told him I was good with that cause you never now what could happen and I came to hunt. We went out to check all the spots but did set up on the Big Bear. On opening day I told him I would like to get out early when he ran the bait at this site. I was in the blind at 1:00 pm and sat until 8:30 pm without seeing a thing. The next day the wind was right to set up at opinion 2 on a Bear that we guessed around 200 pounds but was showing up during shooting light. I was in the blind at 2:00 pm the second day and sat until 8:30pm, still no Bear. the third day I sat in that spot again same times, same results. On the forth day everything seemed perfect so I went out and was in the blind at 3:45pm. At 4:30 he shows up and I was ready! He was at 25 yards on the bait, I pulled up, pulled the hammer back on the H&R, pulled the trigger, and "Click", Bear ran into the brush. My first thought was oh crap I didn't load up so I slowly checked and shell was in the gun, loaded another shell as quiet as possible. Bear started back in so once again I pulled the hammer back, took aim, pulled the trigger, and "Click", the Bear bolted and never seen him again. 2 Duds and I wanted to throw my gun threw the woods. 5 Hunters and it was the only Bear seen and I had DUDS, I was so pissed off. When I returned I sent Remington a not so nice email and call, still waiting on their reply. I have never in my life had a center fire that didn't go off and it happens on something I have been waiting for years to do. It will now be several years before I even have a chance to draw another tag.

Took a bit longer then I wanted but I got my mount back of the Buck I shot in 2012 during Archery season on State Land here in Michigan. Turned out really good so the wait was worth it

I'm buying my tag tomorrow, & the season is Apr 25 - May 31. I F'd up my ankle at work over a week ago and started physio today... the therapist says I should be good to go as long as I wear a brace & my boots that lace up to give my ankle support. Its going to effect my pre-season scouting though.. NED Im in the same boat after playing some ball with the kids this past weekend, sore from knee to toes and ankle looks like a softball. Not letting it stop me though

Already plan on having a blast and right now they are catching Squid, hope they are still there cause I would love to catch a few of those tasty things along with whatever else are in. Just the fun of catching some new fish would be great whatever they are. Been looking at a lot of other great things there are to do there and it will be fun and a break from this winter will be even better. Going to rest up and then Turkey season when we get back

Well after looking high and low I have finally found the perfect woman for me, she is so much more than I could of ever asked for in someone and we have decided on a small wedding at our church this coming weekend. We talk to our Pastor at church Sunday morning and he was more than happy to help get it together in a short period of time.

It probably will be this year! I'm a Hoyt guy but I'm going to give this Bow a Shot after I customize it the way I want to. I will say when he offered it to me I wasn't sure due to it not being a Hoyt but it had such a smooth draw and felt good so I bought it. I should have the riser stripped today and ready for powder coating
