This piece of property is on the same road as the next place I hunt. The property is about 100 acres and most of it is planted soy bean. We set up a few cameras and found alot of deer moving through there and some even bedding down in the headgerow splitting the two longer fields from the shorter field. This land hasn't been hunted in many years so their is a ton of scouting to be done. This piece of land is alot smaller than my other one. Its only about 28 acres but there is alot of pluses to it. Its bordered by a 150 acre tree farm that isnt hunted. It also has a good water source and good cover. There is a ton of deer activity on this land. All and all I think I have to decent spots for this hunting season

Wish I had that spot. I had a 30-acre tract like that for a couple years, surrounded by corn fields. But I invited a friend on the place with me one year and he went behind me and cut me out with the landowner. How's that for low-down backstabbin. I've got 15 acres now to hunt. It's not much and not a lot of deer, but it's all mine. i don't have to worry that next year I won't have a place to hunt. Good luck.

Those spots look promising!!! Some of the biggest bucks come from small tracts.
