that would be my state, connecticut, such a joke, and our tags are more expensive than all the surrounding states put together..........we have a long ass season here in ct, if you hunt bow ,rifle,muzzleloader,..... even still, if you didnt take time off of work and only hunted on saturdays, you would only have 15 days to hunt, what a joke

I am primarily a weekend hunter except for a week or so I take off during the season.. And that is often a crap shoot cause you never know what the weather is going to be like..

Well I am lucky enough to work shift work again and have a lot of time off during the week to hunt. My son has started hunting with me though and would be a lot harder to keep him interested if we only had one day a week to try and see a deer together.

While I myself would not hunt inside a fence because I believe in fair chase. I agree if you put a buck in a large enough fenced in area with the right cover, he could be very hard to find. Yet still, a buck in any sized fenced area is being limited to where he can go, unlike his free roaming counter part.
I do take handicapped children to game farms (fenced areas) to hunt deer because with their abilities it is the only chance they will ever have to get a buck (and sometimes that is a challenge pending on the disability).
Here is a good question for those that agree that hunting fenced deer is OK. Should those deer be allowed in our whitetail deer contest? I say no.
