Nice. That 10pt is young deer compared to the 8pt. Im going to guess that 10pt as a 2 1/2 year old.

Machette, he's every bit of 3. My buddy who hunts there saw him last year as a 10 pt also. He never saw the bigger 8 pt. He called the 10 pt the grand daddy of the woods. I'm after the 8 pt myself. He's way bigger based on camera pictures. In a few more weeks I can try rattlin and see who comes in lookin for a fight...then someone is going down. They come in just at dark or there after and I can't see em...even using the moonlight.  Doe tags are valid next week Sept 15. I'm gonna be taking out at least 4 does next weekend. After that we have doe days every Sat starting Oct 1 and running half through Dec. If I can't get the big 8 then he will have a hard time finding does!!! I'll get him to come out some way. |

Yes sir NED. I'm out in the stand all this weekend. Gotta try and hunt the rut as much as I can. Gotta a nice swamp stand also I want to try out, where ther is rumored a huge 10 plus pointer...we'll see. Good luck guys.
