2 Different Bucks and 2 smart ones at that. They will screw up sooner or later but may only screw up once, you need to be there when they do but they will screw up. Guys do stupid things when wanting some.

Hunting rubs and scrapes is largely a waste of time. that being said deer will often rub the same trees year after year,but seldom more then once a year.... looking at the areal photo you posted you do seem to have a natural funnel or bottle neck and it is probably worth hunting the area..

man that's some good bucks, I hunt in the south where it's really tough to hunt. Rub lines are early mark on their traveling corridor. The best thing that I have found to do is to follow the rub lines up to the thickets, get the wind in your favor, get as far in as you can to get a shot and still have a shooting lane, and you will most likely catch that buck just before dark slipping on out. I did this myself this year and shot a nice 8 point from the ground at five yards with my bow.
