Ok guys im going to ask for your ideas. Me and my fiancee are stuck on ideas for our honeymoon. We both like the outdoors and hunting and fishing. We cant decide if we want to go somewhere exotic or just somewhere we can get away from everything. I need ideas on some trips. Remember this will be in July. Please help me with some ideas.

That's a tough one. There are sooo many great destinations that would be suitable for outdoorsy places to visit. I know that many hunting lodges offer both hunting and fishing...and many have private cabins that should accomodate for some possible romantic one on one time after makin time in the stand or on the fishin pole. A little online time should yield up some good possibilities if you search them out.

it all depends on what you wanna do really. travelling to the carribean is pretty cheap right now with the economy the way it is. my buddy and his wife went to the bahamas for their honeymoon and stayed at one of the nicest places down there in one of the nicest suites that the place had for $3000 and they were there for a whole week. i'm sure you could got down there for a week for around $1500 and be satisfied with what you get.

A cabin tucked away in the woods near a creek or lake.
My honeymoon was spent in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Tn. We have to go back every year now because she loved it so much.
I would wait on the hunting trip for an anniversary.
Good luck and Im sure yall will enjoy what ever yall decide to do.

Montana should be on your list. I can highly recommend a little guest ranch about 20 miles west of East Glacier Park, Montana called Bear Creek Guest Ranch. They have it all. Clean comfortable cabins, great food, horse back riding into Glacier National Park and the Great Bear Wilderness, whitewater rafting and flyfishing on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Check out their web page at www.bearcreekguestranch.com For some place more exotic, try the Cayman Islands. Great snorkeling and scuba diving. Smoke...

Skip Lake of the Ozarks, it is way crowded. Go to Table Rock Lake instead. Cheaper, and a lot less people. Excellent fishing, swimming, and boating.
Serioushunter has a great suggestion, Yellowstone would be a great trip to take in July.

You both like to hunt and fish, Wow! that is a match made in Heaven. Congratulations, sounds like you got a keeper there, you better treat her right. I can imagine being married to a women that likes to hunt and fish, for Christmas I would be getting a new rifle, Valentines Day a new shotgun, for my birthday a treestand or maybe a boat, a perfect world that would be. Those kind of women are few and far between, again congratulations. For a honeymoon I would say a fishing trip anywhere would be in order (of course it depends on how much fishing your going to be doing .

See this is why i ask your advice. Those are some great ideas you have thrown out there. And yes im very lucky to have the woman i have. Couldnt ask for anyone better. And not only does she like to hunt and fish she also wants to play golf with me. Can it get any better??? I do love the idea of Yellowstone. That is one place i would love to go check out. The Montana idea smoke mentioned sounds really nice also. I think a horseback ride with a picnic out in the forest would be really romantic and memorable. Keep those great ideas coming guys im liking the suggestions so far. Just want to explore all my options and try to pick the best one.
