This "winter" has been strange to say the least. Nothing but mud around here. When we do get snow and cold temps it only lasts for a day or two. We are supposed to have high temps in the low 30's and lows in the teens or below this time of year. Something is really screwed up in the climate. I HATE IT LIKE THIS.

It is definately been a wierd winter for sure. Im guessing that this will have a big effect on the animals spring happenings also. Hope it dont make the turkeys do all their gobbling too early. Oh did you say snow geese? Ithink i seen a few of them the other day.

it is going to negatively affect the spring run off & river levels, bad for the spring trout spawning up the rivers.
it is making for a very easy winter for the deer herds around here. the fawns should be very healthy & plentiful this spring...
snowmobile trails have only been open for 1 day so far this season....
a strange winter indeed.
