I got a set of Slayer broadheads as a prize at a golf tournament this summer. I have a set of 3 blade Slayer's from last year but these are 2 blade heads? I'm still new to bow huntin' so I haven't got much of an opinion on what's best yet.

I just started my 2 weeks of summer vacation today. while I'm not going away, I plan on enjoying my STAYcation and spending some time cleaning up shooting lanes, relocating a tree stand & maybe building a new stand or two...

I haven't been out yet, but one of the lads at work knocked down a opening day gobbler. I'm going out of the country on Monday for 2 weeks & hope to get out during the last couple weeks.

I occassionally suffer from back pain, I don't like the ciropractor so I recently had massage therapy and it worked much better than the ciropractor used to. My mother was bed ridden with it years ago, if you are having siatica i wouldn't be getting your back minipulated.. a quick search and I found this www.medicinenet.com/sciatica/page3.htmNed

Its going to be a tough hunt here! Everything is about a month ahead, and no rain to speak of in over a month. Most of the fish have been up the rivers & spawned out. Birds are already sitting on their nests, trees are all budding already.
Crazy weather this year!

Canada has required all handguns be registered since the 1930's. There is no hunting with handguns in Canada, & we can only have them to shoot at an approved range. An Auth to Transport only allows you to take a HG from your home to the range & back. In general that is all CDNs are permitted to do with handguns, but there are exemptions to the strict laws.
The laws around long guns are much more relaxed and the changes in the Firearms Act simply removes the registration requirements and will destroy the Gov'ts records of the long guns currently registered but owners will still be required to take and pass a firearms safety course and obtain a Licence, which I think is a good thing.
One of the things I really hated about the Act was that if a law abiding gun owner had forgotten to renew their Licence they could be charged with a crime for being unlicenced and in possession of firearms, now that didn't happen very often but it has happened.
