I would think that the marsh seems like a good spot. Around here they love that kind of cover and then you throw salt in the mix and seems like the perfect setup.

Been there done that. Ya know the day this thread started i went out and found that someone had put up a pop up blind 50yds from my stand. So i had to move my stand so i could see some deer again. Well i did move it and saw 9 deer that night so maybe i should go and thank him. lol

I was thinking you had trail cam pics of him when i saw him. Yeah he needs another 2 years to reach his max potential i think. Good luck to him making it through!!

Deerslayer in a way thats good news for me???!!!! I will be in Ocean City in Nov so at least i wont be freezing my butt off for work. But then again i will also be doing some hunting while im there. So some cooler temps wouldnt hurt my feelings. Last year we were there for the record snowfall and it ended up shutting us down because we couldnt get our foundations in. Hoping that dont happen again.

Keep up the hunting it will pay off eventually. As for the car well poop happens just take it in stride and go take out your frustrations on the deer. lol

Here in Mi its only legal to bait in the upper pennisula. The stores are loaded with deer feed anyhow. You wont stop guys from doing it. And Dag i hunt the old fashion way most of the time. I do have a couple of food plots but i dont hunt the plots normally but i did get my buck from one of them this year. I hunt the funnels and runways most of the time.

I am not afraid of snakes but i do respect them. For me my biggest concern is me or someone on my crew getting bit. Wem are constantly in snake infested areas and have frequently seen rattlers and copperheads under our lumber piles. I did kill a couple a few years ago in Pa. Here is my pic of that one. I know how you feel Term. I hunt state land probably 70% of the time. Everything from stolen stands to having people take up a spot right under one of my stands. Its frustrating to say the least. I always have those where is the dnr when you need them moments!!!!
