Wow! Thanks for the advise guys! The bow is extremely decked out with a zero effect arrow rest, limbsavers, high $ stabilizer and pendelum sight. It also comes with Gold Tip arrows, bow case, Muzzy broadheads, very nice quiver and a very nice release. The bow was said to have costed around $600 new for just the bow. He was wanting to do a partial trade for a rifle of mine. Being that I am pleased with my current bow and that bows depreciate so quick, I think I will pass. Thanks again for the info!!!!!!

I paid a little over $200 for my Mathews and $150 for my Parker. They don't hold their value well at all. I guess it's because there's so many ways to screw one up, and the damage is not always evident.

up here youd be lucky to sell it for 250 bucks with everything on it, hoyt, mathews, doesnt matter what it is, ....bows loose so much value the moment you buy em,..... its a fast moving high tech world for new bows know, a 2 year old bow isnt worth squat,......... now , now, dont go eating me up you guys, its just a fact, doenst mean your bow is garbage by any means, its just the way it is,......technology is always worth more in the market of sticks and strings

Yep, its like buying a computer. This year it is the best, but next year something better comes out. People want the best now, not what was best in the past.
I see used bows priced ridiculously high. What I don't see is them selling at that price. People can price them where they want them, but that doesn't mean they have a grasp on the economics of it. They are also usually the ones who say, I put this much into it so I have to get this much out of it. Doesn't work like that. LOL
