Hi all,
I got good news from my latest visit to the Cleveland Clinic on Friday.
My blood tests are all good and I don't have any major side affects from the chemo meds. My doctor is pleased with my progress. I'm feeling better and my strength is returning.
I'll be going back to Cleveland in February for more tests and CT scans. That should give me a better idea of how I am doing in the fight against this monster in me.

Thats great news smoke. Keep up the good fight those walleye will be in the Maumee soon. Hope to see ya made it out there!

Made another trip to the Cleveland Clinic Thursday. Blood tests were good and the CT scans show no new tumor growth. I'm feeling better and may go back to work soon.

Hi all,
More good news concerning my fight with the big C. I made another trip to the Cleveland Clinic last week. Once again my blood tests were normal and the CT scan showed no new tumor growth. The chemo pills are working and my Doctor is happy with my progress.
I'm feeling well and was able to do some turkey hunting with my grandson the last couple of weekends. We haven't knocked over a big one yet but the time we spent together made up for that.

Glad to hear things are going good and well smoke. Help your grandson get one. No better time spent than hunting with your grandson.

Only 6 more weeks till opening day of archery season in Ohio and I think I'll be able to get out a few days. The chemo drugs are working and the CT scans show the tumors are starting to shrink. I've been feeling better and have been able to spend time taking the grandsons out to the woods.
We have also been shooting a lot of clays. The boys are doing great for 12 and 14 year olds. They even brag that they can out shoot the old man.
