Anyone have any experience with this rifle??? I have seen them sell new for as low as $299 and they are supposed to have a great trigger! Any info???

My gun dealer swears by them. But then again he is always trying to sell me new guns. lol

put them in the same league as savage..not much to look at but cheap and accurate .

Ive had the same 300 Savage since I was 9 or 10 yrs old & if the MarlinXL7 is anything like the Savage, Ide say $299 is a great deal for a good Hunting Rifle. It will also give you the opportunity to spend a little more on a descent scope & mounts.
