In order to save cooler space, I will freeze my water bottles before putting them in the cooler. This saves space and also ensures that your cooler will stay cold longer.

When you are camping or hunting always take a good map of the area and a good compass. Always trust your compass, when you think your compass is leading you astray, I can bet my bottom dollar it is 99.9% right.
Last week I was hunting places I have never been when hunting out in the Rockies. I put my trust in a map and compass to get me places, if it weren't for the combination of the two I might of been bear food by now.

I agree zimm.. Even my gps has been wrong at times. Seems that swamps have an effect on a gps so i carry both.

I agree passinthru, when it comes to depending on things in the outdoors there is nothing like the real deal. My cell phone has a compass, but I don't trust my life to things that need recharged. I hate that "Oh Crap" feeling when these new fancy devices lose their power.
