this isn't really all that uncommon of a recipe, but smoking deer meat is about the best thing that i've found. i'll take either a ham or a backstrap (backstraps are my favorite) and marinate it in some sort of thin bbq sauce for about 3 days. get the smoker fired up and get some bacon and tooth picks. wrap the meat in the bacon using the tooth picks to hold the bacon on. slow cook that baby for about 8 hours and you've got yourself a fight brewing. who's gonna get the first piece and the last piece. course after 8 hrs of smoking more than a few beverages have been consumed and that's probably where the fighting comes from, but it's good.

Sounds good.Ijust smoke them like pork good rub on them and let it go for 8-10 hours.
