I learned a very valuable lesson this week. Never tell your spouse you are going to do something the week before you are going hunting. I had to install a cermaic floor in kitchen and bathroom. I spent about 40 hrs in 3 days in order to get it accomplished before muzzleloading season this weekend. Floors are done and I am headed to the woods!!!!

lol, i hear ya bud.
here's something i've learned the hard way. don't tell her that you'll be home between say 5 and 6 because at 5:01 you're late. she hears 5 and although you're trying to give yourself some room for error, there is no room for error. just tell her you'll be home when you finish doing whatever it is, that way there's no expectation of arrival.

Im finding that out. I had to tape the bathroom before i get to leave to go for the next 3 days so she can paint while im gone. At least it is a trade off. Im not that fond of painting.

You know you enjoyed putting that floor in! Saw the pics, looks good! Good job! ;D I HATE painting, with a passion. So, whenever I have been called upon to paint I just screw it up. That way she doesn't even ask anymore. Last time she told me she wanted me to paint the bedroom, AGAIN, I said sure let me go get my Wagner.....put a stop to that quick fast and in a hurry! LOL ;D
