Well, it wasn't a bad weekend, though I didn't see any shooter bucks. Everyone saw lots of deer and History repeated itself for my Dad anyway. He rattled up a nice 8 pt. I think the buck is atleast 3 years old. He would have been really nice if he had been 2 inches wider. I couldn't take out his jaw because my dad is taking him to tax.  Pretty crazy this buck was still alive when they loaded him in the truck. My dad hit him in the top of his shoulder and it just paralized him. It is pretty crazy that the shot didn't kill him. I wish I had a pic of the shot, It may have been 3 or 4 in high from the center of the shoulder.   |

So grassi is your dad on here and signed up for the hunting contest? We sure could use his buck for Team South. ALthough I FINALLY think I've got a shooter buck on trail cam. Woohoo.

Well, I could have signed my dad up and just post everything for him, but he can barely use his cell phone. Much less a computer. Its funny I have told most of my buddies about the forum, but they just don't seem as interested in hunting as me. They are more into Facebook.
