well, i have been getting reports (and seeing for myself) that the bucks have been seeking, or chasing here in ct for a week now, it is definately going to be an early rut here. I have the week of the 8th to the 13th off, no moon and earlier than i usually take off , i have a great feeling about this! cant wait!   |

Thats interesting, We have usually had alot of seeking and chasing by now, but I have seen nor heard of any. Not to mention I am getting pics of bucks still together and fighting. I think when it does happen here its gonna be big time.

Been chasin here also. Scrapes rubs the whole nine. To me the rut seems to be right on time. I normally starts here right around holloween. To me the best days are devils night holloween and the following day for buck activity. According to the experts no matter what the rut occurs the same time every year. Seems close to me every year but every area is different.
