I thought I posted this, but now I don't see it. I can't see any reason JD would have removed it. Maybe I didnt hit post. But It did remember my title? ? Anyway, This is a really cool pic. I have heard of thise things more and more. Research says it only occurs in less than 1% of the whitetail population. But I guess when there are millions of whitetails that means there are quite a few. They say that the piebalds usually have other health problems, but they can be healthy. Would You shoot it now or wait?

Wait. Chances are he'll survive and be bigger next year but I don't think he'll make it to 4-5 yo. If he's still around next year or the 3rd year I'd take him for sure then. He's definately easy to ID on trial cam. You got all sorts of crazy stuff down there in your area. You near a nuclear waste dump or something?

I'm not sure where all this crazy stuff is coming from. When its dry like it has been we are on the deep part of a big creek and it is still almost dry. I think it draws everything in. It will be interesting to see if this guy hangs around. Alot of times the deer that come around this time of year are only visiting. But he is pretty young you wouldnt' think he wondered too far.

Cool looking deer. Don't know if I would shoot it or not. Be cool to say I have killed one.

i guess it all depends on whether you want him breeding or not. if you do shoot him, have the hide tanned, it'd be a cool addition to your man cave.

personally i think if you dont shoot him someone else will so in that case id stick it lol grassi has a minimum size requirement regardless of the coat color allhunter. No one else would be trying to shoot that spike piebald...he's probably more of a novelty then anything else...I bet most of the members want to see him around rather then dead...just yet.
