Just wanted to get opinions on everyones favorite hunting round. Whats been the most accurate and had the best performance harvesting animals and not just punching holes in paper.
My vote goes to Federal Premium Vital Shock loaded with Accubonds. This is the first year Ive ever hunted with them so im sure there is better out there but WOW. Ive killed 3 deer with them so far and the wounds have been DEVASTATING.

I like the winchester ballistic tip bullets. They wreak havoc on the vitals. Just about every deer i shoot drops in there tracks. Gotta love that!!!

i shoot the federal ballistic tips. they're pretty good, i've yet to have one run more than 50 yards. the one that did run 50 yards was my fault though. bad angle and shooting left handed i ended up hitting him in the butt. good ol' texas heart shot. as far as accuracy goes, they're pretty good, but i've never put a lot of them down range because they average out at $2.50 a piece!!

For Whitetails I use 150 gr Sierra Pro-Hunters or Hornady interlock in any of my 30 cal. rifles. For larger game I use 165gr Sierra Game Kings in my 30-06. For Elk this year I used 180gr Hornady interlock, the Elk dropped right in its tracks. But in all honesty it was the shot placement more than the bullet that caused the elk to drop like that. I shot the elk through both shoulder blades, take an animals front wheels away and they aren't going anywhere.
Has anybody ever had good luck with Speer bullets? I tried all kinds of Speer bullets in different guns and I never could get a good group from any of them.

180 grain Winchester Power Points. The wound track is amazing. If you hit the shoulder they don't always exit, which means all the energy from the bullet is delivered to the animal. The first deer I ever shot with one was a button buck. When I turned him over to field dress him one of the stomach chambers fell partway out the exit hole, and it wasn't even a gut shot. The bullet expanded, destroyed both lungs, and ruptured the diaphragm.
