Rossi Trifecta??

Well I got a Cabelas ad today and on the front page is a Rossi Trifecta that comes with 22lr, 20ga, and 243 barrels for $279. I have never heard of these before but that is pretty dang cheap for 3 guns in 1. Not looking for me but i got a couple nephews that im trying to get into hunting and of course my own kids when they are old enough. Like i said never heard anything about this gun before so I figured I better look into it a little bit and see if its worth buying or just junk. Thanks for any input!!

Great guns!! I have a friend who takes lots of kids hunting and he has one of these and just loves it. For the price i say you cant beat that little gun.

my brother-in-law bought a couple of them last year for his kids, but it didn't come with the .243. pretty cool little set up, but it's light and shooting 20g high brass gives off a pretty good kick.

It is kind of like a Swiss Army knife. It doesn't do any job great, but does several jobs well enough. They are actually very good quality for the money. I know several people at our range that own them and all are very happy with them.

A few years back I bought this Rossi to add to Our growing survival kit. Its a quality kit that comes in a nice little carrying bag to boot. We dont use it much but it has its home in Our gear. Its fun to take on a Back Wood Excursion on a weekend camping trip. & in a SHTF situation, it would be a good hunting tool.

It's a great investment, that's my $0.02

Thanks for the input guys. Im thinking this might be a pretty good investment. Seems like a pretty good setup for kids to be shooting, doesn't need to be a tack driver just something they can plink around with while they are learning.
