So me ans a couple buddies went out christmas day to chase some bunnies. Here is the results of our outing. [im g][/img] Dont want to brag but i was 8 for 8 on my shots. Not bad for not picking up a shotty for over a year. My partners didnt fare so well on the shooting but still did pretty good. Now its time for some wabbit stew. Anyone else do any rabbit hunting???

I love to rabbit hunt when the snow falls. Watching the dog is the best part for me. Its alot of fun and some good exercise. If you have never tried it you should give it a go sometime.

Nice job! I do miss rabbit hunting. Around here, between the yotes and lack of cover, we don't have very many. Might have to check out some public land and see if I can find some.

Im telling ya that is some of the most fun you can have hunting. We do have a ton of yotes also but there is still a few around if ya can find them. One thing i did notice though is they seem to stick close to houses and not way out in the brush or fields. May be how they avoid the yotes.

Great Job. Gives me the itch to get out and do some. Might have to do it while running the trap line.

Here is rabbit hunting "Oldzimm" style, don't get many rabbits, but it is fun. I use a 32 cal. muzzleloader, I must be very selective on where I put the ball (bullet) or it can get messy.

Zimm that is cool. Im betting thats a tough way to hunt. I did do a hunt years ago with a m/l shotgun. This was at a beagle club and they were having an old school hunt where no modern equipment was used. It was fun but ill stick with my 410. Id be reloading and them dang dogs would run one or even two past me. Heck the dog would run one past while reloading then the dog would come by and look at me like "why didnt you shoot that rabbit.) lmao
