With the recent 9" of snow we got here, I was wondering if anyone knew if deer were attracted to the salt that the road departments put on the roads? I know deer do not use salt until warmer months, but I am sure that plenty of the salt remains probably year round on the sides of the road. What do you guys think???

Oh they love it. Ive seen more deer hit by cars because of this. They will come to get it every chance they get. Also it seems like in the spring they are always in the ditches and on the shoulder to get the leftover minerals and the first grasses always green up in the ditches first.
