With the season quickly coming to an end for most of us, how would you guys rate this season??? My season to this point has been fun as usual, but lacking in big buck production. It has been a great one over all however with some good memories made! How have your seasons been?

The words I want to use todescribe my season would get me in trouble! Other than getting another bow kill under my belt..............

I have killed some deer and the season started out decent. Overall we did pretty good at my lease, though I am losing it, which makes me feel like this season $uck$. I Haven't seen any deer at my lease in 2 months.

Bow season looked as if this was going to be a boomer year. Was seeing deer constantly and was zeroing in on a couple nice bucks. As soon as rifle season opened nothing. Don't take many boom sticks to put some pressure out there. I have killed four deer so far but nothing to brag about and hard to come by. Have to see if this last month changes anything or not.

Well i would have to say my season was good for sightings. I passed alot of deer up in hopes of seeing a big one but never panned out in my favor. I did kill a few deer which is pretty normal for me. Wouldve liked to had another chance at robobuck or the big ten i had pics of but that didnt happen either. Did get to hunt in Md this year which was very interesting to say the least. Never knew they had such big deer there but now i am a believer. All in all not a bad season but couldve been better.

I had a pretty good season. Deer sightings for me were way down similar to the last few years, nothing like it was 10 years ago when I would go out and see 20 deer each day. Only saw 30-40 deer total this year.
I didn't see nearly as many bucks as I have in the past, but again it has been like this the last few years.
I got my first deer with my new bow the second week of bow season and got my first bow buck ever in my big bodied 10/12 pointer. That was the highlight of my season. I also scouted and set my dad up on a couple big bucks a few weeks into bow season. He had good chances, but he couldn't draw his bow back, buck fever I guess. My dad got a nice 11 pointer, and 5 total deer this year. He also got a bow kill, as well as my dad's buddy getting his first bow kill ever.
All in all it was a good season.

Season highlights...this season sucked mostly. It was the worse season ever. Saw mostly small deer, hardly any bucks, had wild dogs ruin most of my hunting times. When I finally get out and find a good hunting spot I started seeing deer but I was so limited on hunting time that my season really sucked. I did get lucky and take a couple 8 ptrs, one of which was the largest I've ever taken and will be going on my wall.
Last year I hunted 3 times more and took 4 times the number of deer. This year my freezer will be empty by mid summer. Maybe I'll get lucky one or two more times before the season absolutely ends.
On a scale of 1-10 based on deer sightings, deer taken, times hunting, deer size, with a 1 being complete waste of time and 10 being shot a wall full of trophies...I'd give this season a 5, full of ups and downs of both extremes.

Thus far this season is just like last season, very poor, very few deer sightings. I hope my luck will change in the next two weeks when I take my meat gun out, my 50 cal., Pa longrifle, flintlock. Many times when the modern rifle season doesn't pan out, the old flintlock pulled through.

Had a really good season, seen more deer than ever, seen many more bucks than ever! The highlight would be my wife getting her 8 pt with a crossbow! It started out kinda bad, wounded a doe but couldn't find her.was getting pretty aggravated then I got a 8 pt and a doe on opening morning of gun season. Nothing to complain about!!!

I had a good season for the area I hunt. I got a doe in October and a nontypical 9 pt with a broken left antler in November.I credit the buck to PA's statewide antler restrictions. We are happy with 104 lbs of venison.

Mine was decent, but I didnt get to hunt near as much as I would have liked. A word of advice for the rest of you guys, if you are planning on having a baby, dont do it right before bow season starts. Killed a doe with the rifle in WV. Saw a number of deer out of the stand and had shots at 3 or 4 does and a small buck. Passed the small buck (shot was a little far for me anyway) and waited for a better shot on the does tha never materialized. Its been a few years since Ive killed a nice buck with the bow, so I think Im due next year.

My season had its ups and downs. I saw deer almost every time I got into the woods, mostly does and dinks. I passed up a lot of good shots on them while trying for one of the larger bucks that always stayed just out of range or in the brush during the archery season. When gun season rolled around the bucks dissapeared and I settled for two large does just to fill the freezer. We still have the muzzleloader season this next weekend and late archery season until Feb. 6 so I hope my son and brother will each knock one over since I don't have any tags left. I can still hunt with my cameras-No Closed Season and No Bag Limit when using them.

Don't take many boom sticks to put some pressure out there. I have killed four deer so far but nothing to brag about and hard to come by. Have to see if this last month changes anything or not. Mine was almost exactly the same. I saw more deer during bow and black powder seasons than ever before. Saw more bucks than ever before. I let a fair amount go. But I just couldn't connect on them, and I missed and wounded more deer than all other years combined. I don't even like to talk about that. On the one hand, I killed more deer in one year (5) than ever before, but it could have been so much better. I also got my first bow buck kill. But the WV hunting sucked for all of us, nobody saw hardly anything.
