Got to see some of the white stuff you yankees are always complaining about. This is the first time I have ever hunted in the snow. It didn't stick but was still pretty cool for me. Unfortunately I saw doodley squat, but my buddy killed a nice doe. Tracking 101, this deer as most I trail, bust alot of myths you hear. She ran away from water, up hill, and was hit dead in the shoulder (maybe a tad low) and still ran 75 yards. I hear alot of people say that they have never had a deer run, but most of mine make a death run no matter how well they are hit. This one was shot with a .325 wsm.
