I am considering selling one of my XD's. Just not sure which one, and what I should price them at for sure.
Both are the Tactical (5" barrel) model.
#1 Stock 357 Sig. 6 12rd mags Factory hard case Factory bore brush owners manual XD Gear Paddle Holster
#2 9mm that has the competition action job from the custom shop. 2 15rd mags 4 16rd mags Factory hard case Factory Bore brush Owners manual XD Gear Paddle Holster
I was thinking $500 for #1 and $600 for #2. Both are shooters, and are always kept in immaculate condition. The 357 has digested ~500 or so, and the 9mm is closing in on ~2000.
Which would you sell, and at what price? I thought about keeping the 357, and just dropping in a 9mm conversion barrel with new recoil spring. The Sig is a very impressive round, just a bit pricey to shoot a lot. And since I am sitting on 3,000 of 9mm, it would make sense to do the conversion.
The 9mm is a runner, and is ready for anything from competing, to plinking, or home defense. Only downside of the 9mm is my wife won't shoot it, as the trigger pull is too light for her liking. Even that isn't an issue really, as she has plenty others to shoot. And this action job is sweeet. This gun shoots fast, and with the reduced trigger weight and action smoothed out it really stacks them in there.
Just not sure which to part ways with. If you owned both of these, which would you sell. And does the price sound reasonable?

I would keep the Sig. 9mm is a great gun but there are so many it would not be that hard to replace if ya ever wanted too. The price seems to be right on compared to what ive seen lately.

For self defense purposes the 357 Sig is hands down the better round. For just shooting the 9mm is much easier on the wallet and awesome to shoot. I would suggest compromising and keeping both! LOL... Man that is nearly like choosing between 2 of your children! I personally would keep the 357 Sig and very reluctantly let someone pry away the 9mm. I have regretted getting rid of many firearms over the years. No two are ever the same. Good luck!

I would love to keep both. But I need to sell one to fund something else.
You guys came to the same decision that I have, keep the Sig. I can drop in a 9mm barrel and a lighter recoil spring and be ready to go.
