Well, its been 6 weeks since I was diagnosed as diabetic. Things are going very well. First, my vision is 100% back to normal. My fasting sugars have dropped from ~200 average down to a ~90 average. My pre-dinner sugars are now running 90-110. I have now lost 29 pounds, and am felling a lot better in general. Still have a ways to go in the weight loss, but it is definitely a great start.

I really need to pay more attention to new threads and stuff. Didn't even know you were diagnosed. Spending too much time with my nose stuck in the books I guess. That's good to hear. A buddy of mine was diagnosed with diabetes a few months back. After changing his diet and all he's feeling a lot better. You just make sure you stay on top of it and it'll keep getting better and easier.
