Wild hog hunting is just the therapy needed for deer hunting withdrawls.I hunted river bottom hogs this past weekend and had a blast.I saw hogs on each hunt and took a nice boar Sunday morning.Hope to be able to go again soon.Wish I could persuade ole terminator to come down and go with me I know he could use the break from all the snow and nasty north Georgia weather he has been getting lately.I will post pics of the hog soon.

Pic doesn't do him justice...he was field dressed & actually bigger than he looks. His head measured 14" from snout to back of head. Lower cutters 2 1/4". I am doing a european mount with his head...will post pic when done.

That is an awesome mount. Wild Hogs are now being found in the southern part of our state (PA), I'm going to have to think about very seriously hunting them. There is no closed season on hogs in PA, the Game Commission wants them out of here, now that there here, I don't think it will happen. (there here to stay)
