Me and a buddy of mine had been planning earlier in the week to make a couple of coyote sets yesterday. However we had a pretty good ice storm on Tuesday and Wednesday and the ground is covered in 3-4 inches of ice. Now this ice is probably good enough to skate on, but he still calls me Friday night and asks if we're still on. I asked if he had ice at his place like we did and when he said "yeah", I could telll he was thinking I was wussing out on him. We decided to go and when we got out there he said he didnt have ice like this at his place. It took us an hour and a half to make the first set when it should have taken a half hour because of all the time it took to walk across the field. He fell on his butt twice and we didnt see a single dog. I guess it will give us something to talk about when we are a couple of old farts. "Remember that time we risked breaking our necks for a couple of coyotes?"
