Hey all, I just thought that I would bring you all up to date. Some of you I have chatted with for the past five yrs. Sorry that I haven't been around as much as I use to. I was laid off in 2008 and changed careers.

I am finishing nursing school on Jan 28th. I have been very busy. I am currently working in the ICU at a local hospital here in Louisville. Many of you may not know that I have become a grandfather 3 times in the past yr at the ripe old age of 41.

In the past I have really enjoyed sharing stories, pics, and laughs with you and I very much look forward to continuing it a whole lot more .

I wish each and everyone of you a very wonderful and safe hunting season.

Nursing school huh? Thats no easy feat. My wife is an RN & Ive heard the Horrors (Oh the Horror) of your job. But its a damn Noble profession. I just havent the stomach for it, plus I dont like most people.Haha Unless theyre Rednecks! And congrats on the Grandbabies, ya gotta be lovin that.

So glad to hear that things are working out for you in nursing school. I remember when you went through the layoff and told us about you being in school. That is wonderful.

good job bud. school is a long and winding road, but it all pays off in the end. hopefully come next december i'll be done with all of mine. i've got a new motto that i'm thinking about living by after that: if i can't get it done with a masters degree, i can't get it done. hope everything works out for you and good to have you back around.
