I am 95% sure I am going with the M2 20ga in black. I took a peak at the M2 American 20ga, and was impressed as well. I thought the comfortech stock was more comfortable though. I really liked the motefeltro, but the low rib will not work for me. Even with the shims, I'm sure I will be looking down on the rib. Plus, I want a shotgun that isn't overly "pretty". I plan on using it. LOL I still think they are overpriced/over-hyped shotguns. They are still going to kick more than a gas gun, and are way overpriced considering their action is the cheapest/simplest to produce. But, that does not take away from the fact that they fit me, and are incredibly slim/light. No one else has a shotgun on the market as slim as Benelli. After fondling the M2, I picked up an 1100 and it felt so heavy and bulky it wasn't even funny. I mean seriously, the 11-87 in 20ga weighs more than my 12ga Franchi gas gun with a 30" barrel!! Yes, I am willing to succumb to the dark overlords of Italy.....
