I'm always thinking about deer seasons past and day dreaming about that monster buck with my name on it that I KNOW I will knock over next year. Does that mean I'm addicted too?  |

We all about hunting this year too! We've (me and my sons) been working on our spot since the day after the season ended and will not stop until August, every weekend we can, so hopping this year will be better. I failed to kill a single deer last season and still trying for that first one. Been cutting trees, brush and clearing out over an acre so far for this year and finally going in with a small tractor and some disk this weekend for the first ground breaking on a food plot for this season so we hope this year is the one for our first kill. I seem to really suck at it so far, (hunting three seasons so far without a kill, two seasons on public land), but this year will be the one. I'm new to hunting, never hunted as a kid, but the sons want to hunt so we learning together. Oldest likes to deer hunt and the youngest likes turkey hunting so we are really enjoying the time in the woods and doing this one on one is cool. Joined a hunting club late last year and making it "THE SPOT" this year so wish us luck!

Cant wait ive been counting them down too... Ive been getting ready by dipping, cresting, and fletching the 2 dozen arrow shafts that I got for christmas to pass the time.

A little less than 12 weeks away for Archery in Illinois.
Might even get in a KY or a Wisconsin archery hunt in September, only 9 weeks away.
It's gettin close fellers.

Early goose starts Aug 15th in North dakota. Then sept 2 is bow season and it just keeps getting better from there
