Ok guys I'm going to do this race one last time. I've done it 2 times and it has won both times. First was in 2007 and it was my first race! It did not turn out pretty!! Lol That was the hardest 2 hours of my life!actually it took more like 2 hrs and 20mins to do one lap. It just totally kicked my ass. Last year I got the nerve to try it again, but about 3/4 of the way through the first lap I fell over on a tree root and bent my shifter into the side case but I limped in enough to finish the lap and get credit for the race. U had time to do another lap but I thought I tore up the transmission because I couldn't change gears at all. Fit the last month I've been trying to get in shape and getting the bike ready. This will be my last race here no matter how it turns out, I'm just hoping to get a plaque for placing in the race. My race is on June 26th, the quads race the day before. Here is a vid from last years Pro race. At 3:35 it doesn't look like it but that is a big hill, in my race there were close to 100 bikes stuck on that hill at the same time!!!

Here is a video of 2007 with bikes and quads. The camera doesn't do it justice, it is a lot rougher and steeper than what it looks on the vids.

Heading out in the evening! Gonna watch the quads race Sat and then we race Sun morning! Super pumped!!! Hope to come back in one piece.

Wooohooo! I got fifth place in my class, that is the best finish I've got with this series! Only got to do one lap (14 miles) but still pumped!! I made it about 3 miles into the second lap but I was just to tired and weak to go any farther so I gave up on the second lap. It was as brutal as the 2007 race but I had a blast! My buddy got 2nd in his class and 30th O/A! There were 251 bikes in the race and 53 of them DNF'd!!!!  |

Thanks! It is called "Americas toughest race". I'll try to post some videos of the quads later. Didn't get any good vids of the bikes. I didn't have the strength to hold the camera up! Lol
