I went to the lease last Tuesday after work to do a few things around the place. As i was walking up to the porch at the cabin I saw this guy standing out front at the feeder. Went in got my rifle and made a 224 yard shot on him. First pig Ive shot in a while. Been to dang hot.  |

Nice shot, reminds me of one I shot at feeding on our rifle range, just in front of the 200 yard target. I could have gotten closer, but the shooting bench looked so inviting. turns out my gun was way off.
224 is a poke around here.

Its just about the longest shot on our property. We actually set up a target under that feeder and a couple months ago and practiced shooting off of the porch. That 308 165gr amax round hits em hard. Thats the second one we shot off the porch in the past few weeks.
