We all use or have used a treestand when we hunt. We know from experience that those long days on stand can really wear you out. Especially when we're sitting in a treestand that is not designed for comfort.
From experience, which treestands do you folks think are the most comfortable?

I own two different stands. One is an API hang-on. It is the most uncomfortable thing Ive ever used. Most all the hangers Ive used break my back. My second stand is a Big Game two-seater. This stand is great when I hunt alone, but the seat from front to back is still too small. When I seat two in it, its just to cramped.
Neither stand that I own would I recommend to anyone.
I'm in the mood to buy the most comfortable stand possible for this upcoming Whitetail season. But Im also looking to buy a climber.

I have a Summit Viper climbing stand. Its the only tree stand that I have ever used that I think I could sit all day in. Plus with their stirrup step climbing system its also the easiest climber I've ever used. I think they just come out with a new model that is suppose to use what they call a dead steel coating. Which they clam to be even quieter. It would be the best $300 you'll spend.

Ive seen em at Scheels for $220. For the price, it's the best deal in climbers that Ive seen this season.

I will second the summit viper ss. I bought one last year and i fall asleep in it. They are by far the most comfy stand i have ever used. On another note i do have a cushion i also use for ladderstand sits and it is awesome. Its made by hunt=comfort. Its a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

This one, we built 3 for our camp last yr. 2 more coming this yr. they're great, comfortable, protect from the elements. only disadvantage is you can't see behind your stand. Ned

Whitetail season is sneaking up on us here in Illinois.
I'm going this weekend to buy a climber stand. I'm dead set on purchasing a Summit. But before my purchase Id like some input from the folks here. Is the Summit Viper conducive to Bow Hunting?
Summit makes the Dagger also, which is an open face stand designed for Bow hunting. But the cost is a bit more than the Viper. So my concern is whether or not the Viper is adequate for Bow hunting.
Any pros & cons towards the Viper or the Dagger?
