just curious where everybody is at? i know the season opened in SC yesterday, has anybody seen anything? i won't be back down there until labor day weekend. unless i take a crazy trip down there.

Hey guys, I'm still alive and kickin'.
It has been one wild and crazy summer for me.
Two trips to visit my daughter and her family in Yemassee, S.C., working 6 days a week and cutting down 30 dead ash trees in the yard, ( thanks to the #**@ emerald ash borer) I haven't had much time to get on here.
I still need to get to the woods to get my stands ready for the start of archery season, and get some practice with the bow if I can find some spare time. Wish me luck.

Yep, it's been VERY slow. It will pick back up soon. I haven't been on much due to being worked to death. My work schedule just changed, so I will have plenty of time to delete the deer, bear, hog and fish populations! LOL....

Just got back from the last 4 days of hanging 12 stands and 8 trail cameras and putting in hard wood floors at our hunting house. And getting it cleaned up and ready for the fall. After 12 hours of laying flooring I can now say I know how to do it.

Sorryy guys I've been out hunting...I just updated my Journal if you want to read and see about it...YES I've seen deere everytime out so far...I've hunted 3 times last week. Saw 9 and a buck first day out, does and fawns the other two times. Saw some turkey today along with some fawns. Nothing to speak about on trail cam. Either bucks are avoiding the cam or they havn't been that active in the area yet...due to the birthing and all the fawns present. Got a couple good pictures of bachelor groups from out Fripp Island, which typically is a week or two ahead of me here in Beaufort. Good Luck friends.

Yeah, its been dead, I have been doing alot of work at our hunting lease. I been checking in about every week or so, just to see if there is anything new.

Yep a lot of prep work going on. The board is startin to pick up a little and Im sure by mid September when more areas open up it's gonna get busy again for sure.
