well i will finally be able to come to my home state and hunt rifle season for a few days. does anybody know of some good state land to hunt rifle, near Ionia area? or if you want to be real generous allow me to hunt with you?? lol..

Man i could set u up in a great area but its not near Ionia. Ill put out some feelers and see what i can come up with for your area. I hunted there years ago. When are you coming and for how long ill try to help ya get a spot.

I should be there the 15th and be able to hunt for bout 3 days. Dropping the little one off with grand parents so I can do some hunting.

It doesn't have to be in Ionia I'm willing to drive a hour or so from ionia

k man i did some checking. The best area for a chance at a decent deer everyone i talked with said the area on the right near murphy rd is your best chance. Other than that piece the ionia riverwalk area produces some nice bucks. Pretty much a private property area with very little state land around.
