Found some nice rubs, watched some deer, and Dad got a doe! Also, found my first matching set of sheds. It was a little 8 pt. will try to get pics next time.     Keep an eye on our website for updates on my season! www.mcarthurwoods.webs.com/ |

Grassi, I was reading the Nov. issue of Bowhunter magazine dated back in 2009 tonight & come across an article that relates to your pics of that healthy rub. To summarize, A couple of biologist from the University of Georgia wrote that early season rubs are correlated with older age-class bucks(2 1/2 years +). Young bucks don't begin making rubs till much later in the year. Plus the sheer size of the trees in your pics would signify some healthy racks on those older monsters. To sum things up, Im a bit jealous. hahaha  |
