A good friend of mine got a new bow the other week, and he sold me his old Parker Wildfire for $150. I was going to sell it to my brother in law, but after shooting it I realized its 28 inch draw was a better fit for me than my Mathews' 30 inch draw. So I kept it (much to the disappointment of by brother in law.) I shot some paper Saturday, and I'm going to have to take it to the bow shop to get the nock point moved. I finally got it to shoot with no tear but the arrow is about 4 inches high at 20 yards, and the front sight is all the way to the top of its adjustment. My kisser button is as low as it can go, so the only thing is to move the string loop. But I'll have it right by Saturday. Here it is: One thing though: The arrows he threw in with the bow have small fletchings, and the arrows I've got have large fletchings. Does anyone here recommend against shooting large fletchings through a Whisker Biscuit? It seems to me that there would be more drag with larger fletchings going through the Whisker Biscuit, but I love my Carbon Express Predators, and I'd like to use them if I can. By the way, I'm thinking about selling my Mathews if anyone is interested.

Nice looking bow, good luck with it! As far as the fletchings, you can use the 4" fletchings with the WB but ti will really wear on the fletchings, Most WB recomend you use blazers, much less wear, no warping ect. I also think they fly better threw the WB than the longer fletchings. I just got into fletching my own arrows, its a little pricey for the initial equipment purchases but I have been having a lot of fun doing my own arrows, mixing colors on the vanes and now using wraps my arrows have never been so pretty lol

Always nice to get a new bow, especially when you find one that fits you better than what you already have. I shot through a whisker biscuit for awhile and found I couldn't be as accurate as with a dropaway. However, lots of guys have real good luck with them. One thing I found was that it was harder on my vanes if they were helical than if they were straight-fletched. This was with 4 inch vanes. I'm wondering why you're hitting high, even with the sight maxed to the top. In the picture, the bow doesn't have the wb on, so I assume you're shooting it as shown. Is the launcher at the right angle? Do you have level travel through the draw cycle? Maybe the shop you take it to can offer some solution other than just moving the nocking point. Are you happy with your anchor points or is an adjustment possible, and what do you think about taking the kisser right off? Just some random thoughts.

Well, I have to have a kisser because I don't use a peep. I had so much trouble with the tubing dry rotting and breaking that I didn't bother to have one put on. When I bought the bow, it didn't have a rest. The rest you see in the picture is the old rest from my Mathews, which was in my archery box since I replaced it with the WB. When I decided to keep the bow, I took the WB, stabilizer and quiver off the Mathews, all of which was done after the picture was taken. Today my first shot after moving the nock point was with a field point, cause I wasn't sure where the arrow was going to go and I didn't want to trash the practice broadhead by hitting something other than the target. Then I shot most of the fletching off the first arrow with the broadhead: Annihilated one of my practice arrows but at least they flew together. I need to shoot a few thousand arrows before Saturday to make sure it's right, but it's looking pretty good so far. By the way, here are the second and third arrows through my Whisker Biscuit the day I put it on my Mathews this January: I was pretty happy at first, until I realized I obliterated 2 nice practice arrows.

Whoa, looks like you have your bow problems figured out. That's nice shooting right there.

If you are using the WB us the Blazer vanes. You will only have problems with the regular vanes..
