GPS

Well my Pops stopped by this evening bearing gifts as usual. ;D
He rarely stops by without bringing my wife, the boys or me something.
He's just cool like that.

Anyways, he brought me his old GPS unit tonight. He said it's a discontinued model but it still does what its supposed to do.

The model is an Etrex Legend made by Garmin.

Ive never used a GPS for hunting.
Any of you fellers use GPS to aid you afield?
And if so, what do you use it for?

I have the one you got. It works pretty good. I use mine for fishing more than hunting but it has goten me outta the woods after tracking a couple of times.
