Ok so this might be short notice but ive finally saved up enough money from graduation and other things to buy the Benelli R1 that I have wanted for 3 years. The scheels here in North Dakota has them on sale for a really good price. I need some help though with optics. I really want something nice to go on a really nice gun but I dont want to go broke. Right now I really like the monarch with the BDC but its still quite high on price. What do you guys think is the best scope for around 200 to 400. Like I said I only have it on hold til tomorrow so any help is great! I was looking at Nikon and the Scheels brand but am open to anything. let me know what you think!

The .30-06, .300 Win. Mag., or the .338 Winchester Magnum? The 3-9x40 Bushnell Legend or the Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 would both be great & affordable.

I found mine for $170 at Sportsmans Guide a few years ago. Great scope!

Those are all in your price range. I would lean more towards the Bushnell, VX-I, Revolution, and the Fullfield so you could get some good bases/rings. Like I said, I would trust any one of those, and have used every single one of them. They are a lot of glass for the money. Hope that helps some.

I think im goin to go with the monarch 4-16-42 its really nice and clear and I love the BDC

Between my Burris and my dads Leupold my brother liked my Burris better and thats what he got put on his gun was the Burris FullField II 3-9X40
