Thinking about buying a new rifle. Ther's a gun show coming up in January so I'm going to go and look around for a deal. What would be a good addition? Thinking about a Siaga .223 Semi Auto or a lever action 30 30. Trying to stay under $500.00.
Give me some ideas to think about!!!!

Great collection man.
Me personally, I would add a semi-auto carbine 12ga to the arsenal. I might also buy a tactical kit for the Ruger 10/22.
Just my $0.02

Just my $0.02 The 10/22 is a 40th Anniversary so I don't want to do anything to that but, I would like to do a tactical on one at some time. Really been looking at the Saige .223 that both Classic arms and J&G have on sale right now for $299.99. Just found out there is a gun show on Friday and Saturday this week so I'm going to go there and see what there is.

I purchased the Ruger 10/22 Krinker Plinker kit from Sportsmans Guide a few years back. Also added a Tasco red dot scope & a 25 round metal Butler Creek magazine. Its one hell of a cool rifle now. Here's a before & after pic.

Think I might have to start looking for a really cheap 10/22 and get one of those kits. Looks cool!

Well I bought 2 guns. I ordered a Saiga 7.62x39 since I already have 2 guns in that caliber and I ordered a saiga 5.45x39 because they are cheap to shoot.(.13/round) $299.99 each

I plan on shooting some rounds through each of them and then doing the conversion on them.

I bought this Saiga in 5.45x39 and did the trigger conversion onit. These are the two I ordered back in Nov. 7.62x39 and a 5.45x39. I have a wood stock set that I am going to put on the 7.62. They are a blast to shoot and the ammo is fairly cheap. I figure they will make good varmit guns. Took them to my sons armory and shot them. These are the plates we used as targets. We were pulling the trigger about as afst as you could and got these results at 50 yards
