Now thats a heck of a hunting trip fellas. Thats a dang nice lookin buck ya got there Riverrat. Congrats to both of you. Has the rut come in down there yet? Are the seeking & chasing yet? That bucks neck doesnt look very swollen, so Im guessing not.

The rut will go in and out here until the end of the season. The buck/doe ratio is out of whack bad here. Riverrat's buck was chasing a doe when he shot it. We got another doe that evening in the pouring rain, but w/ no pic. I was mainly concerned of getting my deer out of the mountains and not drowning while in the process! LOL...

Sounds like fun except for the getting the deer out of the mountains part. I did think the bucks tarsals looked black and wet.
