Spent some time running around the woods yesterday doin some shed hunting. Had a pretty good day imo. Found some bedding areas and i may have found where my big guy has been residing. Found these about 50 ft apart in a really thick swamp. Took all i could do to get in there. Area is just filled with rubs, and scrapes. [im  g][/img] [im  g][/img] Is it October yet?  ??  |

It's that time of year again so I think I'll take my grandsons on a shed hunt this weekend. I hope we will be as lucky as you were.

I just had to get out there it was so nice outside. Dont know how much snow you got smoke but you may have to wait. lol We got 8 inches of snow so looks like ill be waiting to go also. That is the nicest set i have ever found.

Hey Passin,
We only got a light dusting of snow last night and it was melted by noon. I didn't get a chance to go looking for sheds. Too many "Honey do's" on my wife's list. Maybe next weekend I'll get to go.

Yeah i just hope to find the dude that left them behind. Did some measuring and came up with 134 and change!!!! wow!!!

Im trying. Went back to the same area and was lookijng for beds. I found a few. Trying to get all the pieces of the puzzle. Fresh snow helped to find tracks and what they are feeding on.

Cj they are focusing on leftover acorns andbeen feeding in the clearcuts.
