With the mild winter we had here in Illinois, we should see an increase in herd population. Its also been announced that Illinois will be cutting back season dates, but I haven't heard if it will be archery or gun that will be trimmed. I have been out scouting & the deer that Ive seen so far are some real fatties so Im expecting some larger than average whitetails for the 12-13 season.
Anyone else see these similar trends?
