I'm not necessarily superstitious but I do have some odd quirks that seem to have stuck with me over the years, especially when it come to hunting Whitetails.
Example, I've been using the same 'one' arrow now for years & after each harvest I add another tally mark on a vane with a sharpy marker. Its not necessarily my lucky arrow, its just another ritual of mine.
I also crank up some metal every time I drive out to my hunting grounds. Its just something that I've always done to get amped.
Also, back when I was growing up, my father, uncles & grandfather would always say a prayer before leaving the truck & I still to this day wont head into the woods without asking God to provide me with a safe hunt. Its seemed to have worked thus far. 8)
Those are just a few examples of my Whitetail weirdness. How bout you folks, any quirks or superstitions you'd like to share?

I have one that I will keep to myself but as for th rest they are probably the same as most.
I make sure I wash a load of towel with scent free soap to get most (hopefully all scents out of washer) before washing my hunting clothes. I then hang them outside in a tree to dry and then spray them with scent killer. After they are completely dry they are put in a tote that was sprayed and only used for hunting clothes. Every morning during my hunt I pray for a safe hunt and let my family members up above know Im doing good and to tell them I hope they are enjoying their Great Hunt just like the opening mornings that we shared when they were here before heading to the woods.
