Sad to see a huge buck go down like that but its nice knowing the genetics are in the area.

Buckeye - thankfully it wasn't my veh that collided with it (LOL).
I was off duty & about 11pm was called by a coworker who asked me if I wanted a deer that had been killed by a vehicle. Whether he did it intentionally or not, he told me an 8pt buck had been hit & asked if I wanted it. My first thought was that my buddy is a taxidermist & he is always interested in obtaining capes for his business but he didn't answer his phone. So I went out & wasn't really expecting to find this monster ya 8 pt my arse! I couldn't believe what I was seeing, this was absolutely the biggest deer I have ever seen! I could only describe the body as looking like a 40ga barrel from from the chest to the hind legs, I'm only guessing because I never weighed it but my estimate is 300 lb+. As you can see his antlers are incredible, official score 190" B&C.
