Another dumb one here in MI is towards the end of the Hunting Season where Muzzleloading and Archery Season is going on at the same time. If your in the woods with a Bow you can shoot a Buck or a Doe with a Combo tag if you have one but can only shoot a Buck with a Combo tag if you have a Muzzleloader. Oh and its Illegal to carry both, go figure.
Also to the High Powered Rifle and Shot Gun Zones. If Hunting Varmits or Predators in the Shot Gun Zone you can use a High Powered Rifle during the day but cant use one if Deer Hunting.

Great Job. Gives me the itch to get out and do some. Might have to do it while running the trap line.

Cool. Talk about something to make the off season go by slow. Just think how much bigger he will be next year. Thats already going through my head. She said she will try to get a better pic. She said he has stickers all over as well that are hard to see in this pic.

Received a call from my Aunt in Penn. to check out the pic she sent to my email. She said she was finally able to get a pic of the Buck that has been coming into the back yard. She told me I could come down and get him as long as I can take a few more out as well but have to use a Bow only cause of no firearms allowed. I told her I could handle the Bow only thing lol. Here is the Big Guy And another pic from the yard last week She also said there are 3 other nice Bucks that they see on a regular basis

After putting in for points year after year I decided this year was the year to go and get my choice of hunts. I called a buddy from the U.P. and his dad is hooking me up this year. They said I could stay at their cabin free of charge and he will scout and run baits for me with only paying him for his gas, of course he will get more then just that. They have a friend that gives them their bait which are the scraps from his restaurant near by. They said they have alot of Bears on their place and would love for someone to come up seeing as how family doesn't Bear hunt it much anymore. They also receive damage to their cabin and deer blinds from the Bears. Season is a little ways away though but Im pumped already

Picked up a Summit Viper last night to added to my methods of Hunting. With the new Climber, 4 Hang-Ons, 2 Dog House Blinds, and a Hub I think Im ready to hunt any place I can. Gearing up already for the 2011-2012 season, which will include Hunting Mich., Ohio, and Penn. If everything else goes like plan Im going to Bear hunt this year as well in the U.P. Would also like to try and get a Hog Hunt in as well.

Well got a little disappointed last week when the Archery Shop called and asked if I really wanted the Bone Collector Limbs on the new CRX32. They said with the Black Riser and those limbs it would be and extra $100. I told them just to go with the complete Black Out. Im not going to pay $100 extra just for a decal on the limbs. The Bone Collector limbs are the same limbs and in Black but only difference is the Decals. So no decals for me, not needed for that. They also told me it would still be about 6 more weeks before it will come in, I quess I have to wait a bit.
