The plunger was rusted stuck in the hole. Last year the first day of season we sat in the rain all day and evidently I didn't clean the gun good enough. It was not pushing the extractor in to grab the shell and eject it.
Anyway I found a 'smith around which is hard to do. He had to drill it and pull it out. I tried the same thing but my drill bits wouldn't even scratch it?? He got it out but he drilled the hole off center which i didnt know. When I got home and cleaned it out real good and started putting back together. When I did the plunger set at an angle and still wouldn't work because it was in a bind. So in order to get it to work before gun season I filled the hole with epoxy and redrilled it so the plunger set straight. It works so far but I am going to have to buy a new bolt assembly.
I shot it several times to try it out and the wife got a doe with it so its worked out ok until I can get a bolt.
